About Us

After 9.5 years, Dr. Jamie Stoll, graduate of the ISU College of Veterinary Medicine, decided to make a switch from "brick and mortar" clinical practice and provide in-home wellness care. She is passionate about this laid-back setting because it eases client and pet anxiety. She tries the most fear-free approach possible; if the anxiety level is too high, she might have to add in anti-anxiety medication and possibly, come back with a technician to provide a service. Her goal is for everyone to enjoy the visit. Dr. Jamie also performs in-home euthanasia so that our beloved companions can pass as peacefully as possible in the comfort of their own homes.

Doc also has a mobile unit where she enjoys performing surgeries (such as spay/neuters, dental procedures, and lump removals) and analyzing lab specimens. Currently, surgeries are done in her mobile unit at her home base. This setting is quiet, free from the barking and bustle of a traditional practice, and allows Doc to provide focused, uninterrupted, quality vet care.  Doc offers transportation to and from her home base on surgery days. Additionally, she also offers tele-health consults for established clients.

Doc believes in the methodology of mobile veterinary practice. This simplified vet care approach of dealing directly with the doctor is the best way to have open communication between doctor, client, and patient. Dr. Jamie is passionate about the realm of possibilities of GP Pet Vet, LLC.

On a personal level, Dr. Jamie resides on the family farm with her husband, Adam, and their 4 children. They have a Golden named Bella, 2 well-loved horses, a house cat named Buster, loved outside cats, and livestock. Dr. Jamie cares for any farm cat passing through, but they seem to decide to stay and she enjoys taming, getting them healthy, and adopting them out. She enjoys being outside as much as possible, when the weather is nice, of course!
